
Praia, Apr 15 (Inforpress) – The inflation rate stood at 2.0% in March 2026, according to data released today by the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
According to INE, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) recorded a monthly variation of 0.1%, representing an increase of 0.3 percentage points compared to the previous month.
The year-on-year rate of change of the total CPI stood at 0.7% in March, reflecting an increase of 0.1 percentage points compared to February.
The accumulated variation was -1.9%, 2.6 percentage points lower than that recorded in the same period last year.
