Sal Rei, 13 Mar (Inforpress) – The president of the MpD Regional Political Commission (CPR) in Boa Vista, Irina Fonseca, today reinforced the Government’s measures to facilitate home ownership, highlighting incentives such as interest rate subsidies and guarantees for young people and families.
At a press conference, the president of the Regional Political Commission (CPR) of the Movement for Democracy (MpD) in Boa Vista, Irina Fonseca, explained that the objective of the meeting with journalists was to inform and clarify the population about the concrete measures the Government has implemented to facilitate access to home ownership, a fundamental right enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic.
According to Irina Fonseca, the programme has two fundamental instruments: interest rate subsidies for housing credit and a public guarantee scheme for youth housing.
“In practice, the Government may cover up to 55 percent (%) of the interest rate, significantly reducing the value of monthly instalments,” detailed the local leader.
