“I Love nos Carnaval” brings Cape Verdean carnival animation to Naples with Vlu and Anísio Rodrigues

City of Praia, Mar 11 (Inforpress) – The event “I Love nos Carnaval”, featuring Cape Verdean artists Vlu and Anísio Rodrigues, will take place on March 14 at Mahârlika Club Galleria in Naples, Italy, bringing together carnival music and the participation of three samba queens.

The show promises a night dedicated to Cabo Verde’s carnival rhythms, combining music, dance and entertainment inspired by the archipelago’s Carnival tradition, according to the organizers.

The programme also includes the participation of samba queens Wendy Freitas, Brodjinha Gomes and Josiane Monteiro, who are expected to bring choreographies and performances associated with the festive atmosphere typical of carnival parades.

The initiative is part of a cultural programme aimed at the Cape Verdean diaspora living in Italy, with the objective of promoting Cape Verdean Carnival music and traditions among emigrant communities.
