São Vicente: Salesian School organises school games with participation of seven secondary schools

Mindelo, Feb 24 (Inforpress) – The Salesian School of Arts and Crafts of Mindelo (ESAO) will host, next Saturday and Sunday, the Salesian School Games, an event that will bring together seven secondary schools from the island of São Vicente.

According to the ESAO management, the initiative’s main objective is to promote “sport and educational values,” while providing a “great moment of fellowship” among the island’s educational community.

The Salesian School Games include basketball, handball, futsal, swimming and chess competitions.

According to the official schedule, the opening ceremony is set for the morning of Saturday, February 28, and the closing ceremony and prize-giving will take place on Sunday afternoon, March 1, at the Salesian School sports pavilion.
