Praia, Feb 20 (Inforpress) – The economic climate indicator in Cabo Verde remained above the series average in the fourth quarter of 2025, confirming a favorable environment and a strengthening of the growth pace compared to the same period.
According to data from the Business Tendency Survey released today by the National Statistics Institute (INE), the indicator recorded a value higher than that observed in the same quarter of 2024, consolidating the upward trend of the national economy.
The positive assessment of the business climate in the archipelago results from optimistic appraisals by entrepreneurs from various strategic sectors, namely retail trade, tourism, construction, market trade, manufacturing industry and transport.
In the retail trade sector, the confidence indicator maintained its growth trajectory, standing above the series average, although economic operators continue to point to staff absenteeism as the main constraint to the full development of the activity.
