Nova Sintra, Feb 19 (Inforpress) – The technician of the Biflores Association, Carlos Burgo, stated today that the fog water harvesting project has recorded “encouraging” results, with a current production of around 2,000 liters per day.

Carlos Bango, who was speaking to Inforpress, highlighted that initially five collectors were installed, a number that has already doubled to ten, with four additional units planned in another area considered strategic.

The official explained that, in recent times, the association has expanded its capacity for action, responding to new needs, such as the construction of a nursery in the locality of Cova Galinha.

Within the scope of this intervention, invasive species were also removed in an area with high water harvesting potential, located above the aforementioned locality.
