TAOLA+ seeks to strengthen monitoring of marine species by adapting to new technologies

Praia, Feb 19 (Inforpress) – The executive director of the National Marine Conservation Network of Cabo Verde (TAOLA+) stated today that the network intends to strengthen the monitoring of marine species by adapting to current times through the application of new technologies.

Leno dos Passos was speaking to Inforpress to present the network’s activity agenda for this year and the coming period.

He announced that a meeting is scheduled with all 17 network members working in environmental conservation in the country, as well as other national and international partners, to share knowledge and ideas on new approaches to marine conservation.

He added that the focus will be marine conservation, centred on marine protected areas.
