Foreign Affairs Minister begins official visit to Brazil to strengthen bilateral cooperation

Praia, Feb 04 (Inforpress) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Regional Integration, José Luís Livramento, today begins a four-day official visit to Brazil aimed at strengthening political, economic and cultural relations.

The visit, which runs until February 7, follows an invitation extended by his Brazilian counterpart, Ambassador Mauro Vieira.

According to a government source, the agenda focuses on strengthening cooperation in strategic sectors and consolidating the historical ties that bind the two nations.

This visit marks the continuation of the diplomatic dialogue established in March 2025, when Minister Mauro Vieira visited Cabo Verde.
