Cape Verdean Olympic Academy opens applications for 66th International Session for Young Olympic Ambassadors

Praia City, Feb 03 (Inforpress) – The Cape Verdean Olympic Academy (AOC) opened today applications for the 66th International Session for Young Olympic Ambassadors, to be held in Greece from 07 to 19 June.

According to the President of the Cape Verdean Olympic Academy, Orlando Mascarenhas, speaking to Inforpress, the competition is open to Cape Verdean youths aged between 20 and 30.

Mascarenhas explained that this event falls under the Cape Verdean Olympic Committee (COC) and, within its annual programme of activities, participation in this international session represents an initiative undertaken by Cabo Verde, taking advantage of the opportunity granted by the International Olympic Academy (IOA).

This year’s edition will take place in Athens, Greece, bringing together young people linked to sport and Olympic education from various continents, including Africa, Europe, America and Asia.
