Santo Antão: Ribeira Grande hosts the seventh National Meeting of the Teams of Our Lady of Cabo Verde

Ribeira Grande, July 14 (Inforpress) – The city of Ribeira Grande, in Santo Antão, will host the seventh National Meeting of the Teams of Our Lady (ENS) of Cabo Verde on August 9 and 10, bringing together couples from various islands in the archipelago.

In a note sent to Inforpress, the ENS Regional Team informs that the event, which will take place at the David Fortes Pavilion, is a moment of training, sharing and reflection on the challenges and spirituality of Christian married life.

Under the slogan ‘ENS: Pilgrimage of Hope, as a couple and with Jesus’, the meeting will be attended by the bishop of Mindelo, Dom Ildo Fortes, as well as representatives of the ENS communities and members of the government, who will reflect on the role of the family in Cape Verdean society today.

The Teams of Our Lady are an international movement of the Catholic Church, focussed on marital and family spirituality, providing a space for sharing, prayer and growth in faith for couples who wish to strengthen their married life on the basis of Christian teachings.
