Football: Kanal scores his first goal for Sporting de Portugal's B team

Praia, Jul 7 (Inforpress) - Cape Verdean striker Paulo Cardoso, known as Kanal, scored his first goal for Sporting de Portugal's B team in a training match against the first team on Sunday.

According to the sports portal Zerozero, the 19-year-old, signed this season from Estrela da Amadora, was one of the highlights for the B team, scoring one of the two goals in the game that ended in a 5-2 victory for the first team.

The match served as the first pre-season test for the two Leonine squads, with the aim of providing a competitive rhythm and assessing technical options for the new season.

Last season, Kanal scored 14 goals in 35 games for Estrela da Amadora's under-19, under-23 and B teams.
