Praia: Sanitation continues to be one of the biggest challenges – mayor

Praia, Apr 29 (Inforpress) – The sanitation problem in the country’s capital continues to be “one of the biggest challenges” for the administration of the mayor of Praia, Francisco Carvalho.

“We have had more difficult times, but we will continue to improve,” said the mayor of Praia, on the day that the city of Praia celebrates its 167th anniversary.

He assured that one of his “big bets” is on the environment and energy sustainability, in addition to a “big focus” on people.

He promised to continue with the program for the toilet construction sector.
