Praia, Apr 1 (Inforpress) – The Cape Verdean Institute for Children and Adolescents (ICCA) announced today that the socialization workshop for the II National Plan for the Prevention and Eradication of Child Labor will be presented on Wednesday, the 2nd.
In a press release to which Inforpress has had access, ICCA says that the event will be held in partnership with the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef) and will be attended by experts and institutional representatives involved in protecting children's rights in Cabo Verde.
The initiative aims to promote the dissemination and discussion of the National Plan and the updated list, enabling the collection of subsidies for improving the documents and strengthening the collective commitment to their implementation.
‘The meeting will address key issues such as the legal and regulatory framework of child labour, the situational analysis of the problem in the country, recent statistics, impacts on education and the strategies outlined for the eradication of this violation of children's rights,’ the statement said.
