São Nicolau: PR at the launch of the construction of the square and park in Estância de Brás

Ribeira Brava, Apr 1 (Inforpress) – The President of the Republic, José Maria Neves, presided over the laying of the first stone for the construction of Square and Dom Hélder Câmara Park, in the town of Estância de Brás, in the municipality of Ribeira Brava.

This is a project by the Parish Caritas of Nossa Senhora da Lapa, in the municipality of Ribeira Brava, and which is sponsored by the President of the Republic.

José Maria Neves highlighted that these are “very important” social projects, highlighting that there is “a lot of anxiety and expectation” among people, which is why, he stressed, it is “important” that people meet, talk to each other and that in these conversations there is a search for the common good.

“Squares, churches, schools and kindergartens are important social projects, but they also allow people to talk to each other, find solutions, seek understanding and there is more friendship and less violence in our societies”, summarized the head of state.
