Stock Exchange holds second round and final of Global Money Week 2025 academic tournament

Praia, Mar 27 (Inforpress) - The Cabo Verde Stock Exchange (BVC) is celebrating Global Money Week 2025 with the second phase and final of the ‘Torneio da Bolsa’ academic competition this Friday.

In a press release, BVC explains that the international event, with which it is associated, will take place at the TechPark facilities in Praia, and its main objective is to promote financial education among young people, sensitising them to the relevance of financial issues.

Under the slogan ‘Think before you follow, wise money tomorrow’, the initiative aims to promote the development of sound money management skills, the recognition of emotional factors and the development of a critical spirit in relation to information sources.

The ‘Stock Exchange Tournament’ is a BVC initiative in partnership with the International Investment Bank (IIB) and TechPark, aimed at university students regularly enrolled in degree programmes at higher education institutions in Cabo Verde, to stimulate financial literacy and prepare students for the real world of finance, the note reads.
