The PALOP + TL Cinema and Audiovisual Network resumes mapping of the sector and prepares new training initiatives in Cabo Verde

Praia, August 18 (Inforpress) – The PALOP + TL Film and Audiovisual Network has resumed the process of mapping professionals and companies operating in the sector in Portuguese-speaking countries, filmmaker Samira Vera-Cruz announced this Monday.

The information was shared during a meeting with professionals and companies in the audiovisual sector, held with the aim of resuming and updating the mapping of professionals and companies in the sector in Cabo Verde , contributing to the updating of the network's online directory.

According to Samira Vera-Cruz, the mapping process began in 2019, but was eventually interrupted due to the Covid-19 pandemic, other professional commitments, and difficulties in accessing funding.

Work has now resumed following funding secured by the network through Camões – Institute for Cooperation and Language.
