Secretary of State for Tourism represents Cabo Verde at the CPLP ministerial meeting in Timor-Leste

Praia, 30 July (Inforpress) – The Secretary of State for Tourism, José Pimenta Lima, is representing Cabo Verde at the 13th Meeting of CPLP Ministers of Tourism, which is taking place on Thursday and Friday in Dili, Timor-Leste.

José Pimenta Lima is accompanied by the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cabo Verde Tourism Institute (ITCV), Jair Fernandes.

According to a statement from the ITCV, the meeting brings together sector representatives from the CPLP member states to discuss the topic ‘Nature, the Ocean and Culture as tourist heritage in the CPLP countries’.

The ministerial meeting aims to strengthen policy coordination between Member States and promote the sharing of information on the contribution of tourism to sustainable development within the CPLP.
