Praia, July 15 (Inforpress) – Today, the Cabo Verde Red Cross (CVCV) signed a partnership protocol with Garantia Seguros and the Praia Dental Clinic to strengthen access to healthcare, especially among the most vulnerable communities.
The protocol signing ceremony took place at the CVCV national headquarters in Praia, and, in statements to the press, the president of CVCV, Arlindo de Carvalho, stated that the agreement aims to strengthen the provision of health services, including clinical analyses, medical consultations, patient transport, home care, collection and mobility through the institution's ambulances.
According to the official, the Red Cross’s strategy is to focus its efforts on the sections of the population with the fewest financial resources, without excluding families whose incomes are insufficient to cover the costs of healthcare. Arlindo de Carvalho believed that the partnership would help to overcome resource constraints, strengthen the role of institutions in communities, increase community resilience and promote human dignity.
