
Praia, 23 June (Inforpress) – The Pentagrama Music School graduates around one hundred students each year with a view to promoting ‘young’ talent, said its director, José Augusto Tavares, known as Tó Tavares, today.
In an interview with Inforpress, referring to the recital by ‘young pianist’ Helber Passos, scheduled for Thursday 25 at the Portuguese Cultural Centre, Tó Tavares said that this type of initiative focuses on promoting talent and arts education.
“We identify students who have the capacity and ability in the field of music,” said the music teacher.
In addition to being part of the school’s project, called “Notes of Childhood, Chords and Stages of the Future”, which aims to promote and train new generations.
