The owner of Manjuco Vié Couture finds the FCF’s accusations strange and says he is not afraid of legal action

Praia City, June 9 (Inforpress) – The clothing brand Manjuco Vié Couture reacted on Monday with "surprise" to the accusations made by the Cape Verdean Football Federation (FCF) regarding alleged false partnerships and abusive use of the institution's name, assuring that it does not fear any legal action.

The response was issued by the brand owner, Manjuco Vié, via his social media accounts, following a statement released by the FCF in which he denounces what he considers to be false claims of partnership and the unauthorised use of his institutional image

According to the prosecutor, at no point did the brand claim to have any official partnership with the Cape Verdean Football Federation.

As he explained, the initiative consisted of offering personalized caps, called "SnapBacks," to some players on the national team, motivated by the close relationship he maintains with some of the athletes.
