Ambassadors from Guinea, Turkey and Ghana call for closer cooperation with Cabo Verde

Praia, 26 June (Inforpress) – The new ambassadors of Ghana, Guinea and Turkey to Cabo Verde called on Thursday, in Praia, for closer economic cooperation, with a focus on trade, investment, energy, agriculture, tourism and sport.

The new diplomats spoke to the press following the presentation of their letters of credence to the President of the Republic, José Maria Neves.

The Ghanaian ambassador, Felix Kumah Anebo, stated that his mission is to strengthen bilateral relations and create opportunities for trade, investment and business partnerships between the two countries.

He went on to say that he intends to extend cooperation to areas such as education, tourism and culture, whilst also highlighting sport as a means of bringing the two countries closer together, with particular emphasis on the performance of the Cape Verdean national football team.
