Algeria’s new ambassador pledges to strengthen cooperation in the energy and education sectors in Cabo Verde

Praia, 25 June (Inforpress) – Algeria’s new ambassador to Cabo Verde, Ridha Nebais, today expressed his commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in the energy and education sectors, highlighting the potential that exists between the two countries.

The diplomat was speaking to the press after presenting his credentials to the President of the Republic, José Maria Neves, at a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Platô, Praia.

According to Ridha Nebais, Algeria and Cabo Verde share a long history of solidarity, fraternity and cooperation, recalling Algeria’s support for African liberation struggles.

“I am delighted with this excellent track record and hope that the future will be even better. It is true that there are opportunities for cooperation,” she said.
