Praia, Jan 3 (Inforpress) – The heavy haze has affected Cabo Verde has forced Binter Cabo Verde to cancel some domestic flights, a situation had already affected 569 passengers, until the early afternoon of Thursday.
According to data supplied to Inforpress by Binter CV’s general manager Luís Quinta, the airline had to cancel Praia / São Nicolau / Praia flights on January 1st, affecting a total of 112 passengers, including three people scheduled to transfer to Agostinho Neto Hospital (HAN).
The weather forecast points to increased intensity of haze throughout the day.
Luís Quinta said that the company was still able to fly Praia / São Filipe / Praia and Praia / São Vicente / Praia.
However, he indicated that the other flights scheduled for Thursday to Praia, Boa Vista, Sal and Sao Vicente are all on standby, waiting for weather improvements.
