Praia, Aug 29 (Inforpress) – About 1.500 low-income households are being rehabilitated across the country under the Rehabilitation, Restoration and Accessibility Programme (PRRA), implemented by the Government in partnership with City Halls.
The programme, estimated at 11 million escudos and whose implementation started in 2019, was being evaluated during a meeting between the Government and the representatives from all City Halls held today in Praia.
According to the Minister of Infrastructure, Land Planning and Housing, Eunice Silva, in all municipalities the program is “going well”, however, there are some delays in one project or another.
“These are delays that are justified only by the complexity of the project. Everything else we heard was good and we positively evaluated all the work being done under PRRA,” she said, pointing to cases of requalification of the seafronts in Paul and Tarrafal de Monte Trigo, Santo Antão, and Queimada Guincho, in Mosteiros, as being the most complex.
