Debate on the guidelines of the 2023/2026 strategic concertation agreement begins next week

Praia, May 29 (Inforpress) – The Government and the social partners will start next week a cycle of debates to discuss the guidelines of the new Strategic Concertation Agreement (ACE -2023/2026), which is intended to be consensual and useful for Cabo Verde.

The information was provided to Inforpress by the coordinator of the Competitiveness Unit, Luís Teixeira, one of the representatives of the Government, in the commission set up to work on the guidelines of this new agreement, which also includes representatives of workers and the private sector.

According to Luís Teixeira, a total of four cycles of debates will be held, three of which are main and one is complementary, aimed at reaching consensus on positions for an agreement that is useful to the country and framed within the Strategic Plan for Sustainable Development “PEDS – 2022-2026”.

“ACE -2023/2026 should result from the broader social debate around the enormous challenges emerging in the international context and the greater challenges to be faced within the scope of the Strategic Plan for Sustainable Development 2022-2026 and the responses that this plan embodies to drive changes and accelerate the development of Cabo Verde”, explained the coordinator of the Competitiveness Unit that works in the prime minister’s office.
