Praia, Apr 27 (Inforpress) – The Kriolinhos Football School association expresses its gratitude for the gesture of the young Cabo Verdean footballer from Sporting Clube de Portugal Jovane Cabral, for having joined the campaign to raise food baskets for students from this football school.
The mentor of this football “academy”, the footballer Barrusco, told Inforpress that the winger of the Alvalade XXI club gave “Kriolinhos” a donation under this solidarity campaign in which it is intended to bring “beautiful smiles throughout this quarantine” for about 300 children.
Footballer from the city of Assomada, in Santa Catarina de Santiago, Jovane Cabral, 21, has been representing Sporting Clube de Portugal’s main team since 2016, when he was part of team B.
Barrusco said that with this gesture, the children of the school in the neighborhood of Achada de Santo António feel rewarded, as this donation allow them to remain in “quiet quarantine”, during this state of emergency the country is going through, motivated by the struggle against the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
