Praia, Apr 27 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verdean international Platini, a player from Poli Iasi, from Romania, supported needy families in Dinós, the area where he was born, with food products, to help in this time of COVID-19 pandemic.
Platini joined the initiative of a group of emigrants in Europe and the United States and offered food baskets to more than 168 families in the community, distributed by the neighborhood association.
From Romania, the Cabo Verdean International told Inforpress that it is a way of helping and being close to its “neighbors”, at a time when people’s solidarity is “very important.
Last December (2019), together with his colleague from the national team Stopira, in an initiative that involved artists, he organized a solidarity tournament that raised gifts for needy children in the neighborhood of Achada Santo António.
