Praia, Mar 15 (Inforpress) – The costs of importing oil and derivatives increased, in Cape Verde, by almost million escudos (CVE) between March and June 2022, this following the increase in the prices of these products at the international level International.
The administrator of the Multisectoral Regulation Agency released this information to the press this Wednesday for the Economy (ARME), Carlos Ramos, on the sidelines of a consumer fair, organized by this regulatory body to celebrate World Consumer Day.
In fact, according to him, the fair aims, among others, to show that with clean energy, produced internally, the country significantly reduces imports, thus allowing greater penetration of energy and water, making consumers have better services and at a lower cost.
Therefore, Carlos Ramos encouraged consumers to invest more and more in clean energy so that Cape Verde is less dependent on fossil energy and that consumers have a reduction in their electricity bills.
