Praia, Aug 9 (Inforpress) – The City Hall de Ribeira Grande of Santiago (CMRGS) will hold this Friday, 9th, at the Cidade Velha Cultural Center, the Sustainable Future Forum of Heritage Cities within the “City 2020 Project”.
In an interview with Inforpress, CMRGS ‘City 2020 Project coordinator, Elisabete Cardoso, explained that this forum is part of the municipality’s business plan aimed at “working for a sustainable future” in the world heritage cities of Macaronesia, which Ribeira Grande of Santiago is part.
In this perspective, she said, during the forum two panels will be presented. The first will have as its theme “Entrepreneurship and Business Environment Improvement”.
The other panel “Quality and Efficiency of Energy Resources for Tourism Management” will be led by engineer Milton Lopes.
According to Elisabete Cardoso, it is a socialization of the recommendations that came out of a study carried out in five tourist resorts in Cidade Velha and which will be the subject of a new evaluation at the end of the year.
