City of Praia, Oct 2nd (Inforpress) – Praia City Council begins on Tuesday, 3rd, the construction of bathrooms in three neighborhoods of the country’s capital, as part of the implementation of the project “Praia+inclusiva”
The construction, which is part of the project “Praia+Inclusiva: adapting local integrated urban development plans to the Sustainable Development Goals through multi-stakeholder and multi-governance approaches”, aims, according to a press release sent to Inforpress, guarantee the social inclusion of cities, through the implementation of a pilot action aimed at poor families.
The project, the note reads, aims to guarantee the social inclusion of cities with the expansion of the public water and sanitation distribution network, internal connections and construction of bathrooms, this time it will be implemented in Achada Eugénio Lima, Simão Ribeiro and Castelão
Funded by the European Union and implemented by City Council of Praia, in partnership with the Ayuntamento de Madrid and the company Águas de Santiago, the project is aimed at poor households in seven neighborhoods of the capital considered most vulnerable such as Safende, Alto da Glória, Simão Ribeiro, Achada Grande Frente, Castelão, Achada Eugénio Lima and Tira Chapéu.
