Nova Sintra, Mar 9 (Inforpress) – The citizens of Brava were satisfied and grateful with the service that has been offered by the Coast Guard ship on the island, mainly in the transfer of patients from Brava to the island of Fogo.
Speaking to the press, Aida Veiga, from Brava, resident in the city of Furna, stressed that whenever the ship leaves the Port, they already know that it is a patient going to receive help and, according to her, there have been many departures.
In this regard, she considered that the stay of the ship on the island has been “very important”, especially at this time when the Brava-Fogo connection trips are increasingly irregular.
With this Coast Guard ship, she stressed that “there is a certain tranquility”, remembering that the Health Department does not have all the conditions to meet and resolve all demands related to the transfer of patients to the Regional Hospital of Fogo.
