In an interview with Inforpress, this Brava’s citizens resident in Paris (France), said the project is budgeted at about 150.000 euros and, according to him, the campaign was launched on June 8 and soon after had received hundreds of messages of support, mainly from the community in the United States of America. The objective, he showed, is to provide Brava with water ambulance to work on the transfer of patients from Brava health center to the Regional Hospital Fogo-Brava. As he explained, it will be a boat “with all the security conditions, comfort for the patient and the health technician” to accompany the patient, and, above all, with “all the instruments of life support”, which brings “some dignity” to the Brava population”, stressing that this will be made available to the Municipal Civil Protection Service.
